ATELIER

In Milano I had the pleasure of meeting designer Selene Giorgi. Her shop located on Vicolo Lavandai catches the attention of both the local faire and the tourist. Her pieces definitely caught my eye and for those who prefer different, take a look at her website ATELIER and enjoy!

Worth the Press!!

Always, always when I go downtown to the Los Angeles Fashion District to shop for l'Amore Intimo wares I stop by LA TORTA LOCA!! If I have someone shopping with me I take them too. I take visitors. I take residents. I've always called it the great little Mexican food place on Santee at 8th, with the straw umbrellas in front. Any way l'Amore Intimo - that's me - highly recommends and we will be in works to get them to cater (AH! SABOR) our exclusive by invitation only collection launch parties!

The Perfect Nighty Night T-Shirt?

Well I thought the design was a wrap - literally. But after careful consideration and just not wanting to develop the original idea for l'Amore this first "Nighty Night T-Shirt" was scrapped. So maybe it's worth knowing what you think. My idea is comfy, surrounded by sensual. Let me know what you like in a night shirt that will be uniquely l'Amore Intimo?? Help!!

What a Difference a Year Makes

Hello Everyone!!

Yes I have been gone and the business has been very slow do to other priorities called life in Los Angeles. With lack of hands to get a quality job done and lack of time to rush through it on my own l'Amore Intimo has had to take a back seat in production. Slowly but surely the stride is coming back. Everything will be back up and running by this summer and the official launch will take place with a new collection! A new patent pending collection!

Prayer and Praise

This weekend found me visiting a dear friend - more like a brother, but dear all the same. This man is a brilliant designer who creates jewelry designed to perfection - his brand logo. Today in church the Pastor spoke on the story of Mary and Martha - the sisters who were visited by Jesus and one sat listening to His stories while the other scurried getting this and that and the other thing done and missing out on what was important - sharing special time with loved ones.

So hold the phone! That's exactly why I'm here, away from l'Amore temporarily. I'm here now to share this moment with my friends/family. He's still a newlywed and will go into his second round of chemo tomorrow. Radiation each week day for the past 3 weeks. Wow... praise and prayer for time well spent and healthy days ahead.
