Is There Shame in Failing?

First define failing.  What does that look like to you?  I believe the shame is only in not trying.  Okay, now that I have convinced myself of this I'll talk about today.  Today was a great day of designing the back strap of the infamous Citrine Birthstone Thong.  People, it wasn't happening!  

What I learned...

When you don't have the right materials you won't get the product you are seeking.  I need better citrine beads.  So tomorrow, bright and early, after I stop by the SAG office to pay dues, and then to my elite 90210 office to pick up the items in my inbox, I will be off to bead world.  Bead world in the 661 is either Michaels or this beautiful bead store Beads and More Needs off of Lyons Ave.  I will find the proper beads for my needs and this mock up will be in the mail by Thursday, with a disclaimer that this is definitely a one of a kind and she is the lucky one!

Dream Sweet

90210

My trip to my pseudo office today, led me pass three blocks of white canopies. These canopies were beautiful as they lined the grass alongside of Santa Monica Blvd from Rodeo to Bedford (I think). They big sign \in the midst of these canopies was Beverly Hills Art Show. L'amore qualifies as art. It's definitely a craft. Should be a fun time this weekend, as well as a learning time for me as I walk from tent to tent looking to see how I can be there myself for the next event.
