IT'S NOT EASY BEING GREEN

Today I shopped for and found the most beautiful green to create a dazzling prom dress for my beloved Ari.  What is great about this project is that I get to practice on my beading.  I am going to use a brilliant beading for straps.  Thank goodness her pageant is not until June - that gives me this holiday weekend.

Why the rush?  You never know when the census bureau will be back up and running - especially now with the office opening up here in the 661.

Lessons 37-45

The last day of the top 45 lessons that 90 year old Regina Brett has shared - plus my highlight.  Enjoy--

37.   Your children get only one childhood.
38.   All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39.   Get outside every day - Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40.   If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's, we'd grab ours back.
41.   Envy is a waste of time - You already have all you need.
42.   The best is yet to come.
43.   No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, and show up.
44.   Yield
45.   Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift.

I have reveled in the wise words and caring heart of this woman, and although I don't know her personally, would like to than her for her insight.  Take it as you like it.
