Here's what I didn't get when first told about the SBDC, I don't have to know what to do to start a small business.  I only need an idea, and then make an appointment to talk to these professionals whose goal it is to help me work up a business plan and a marketing plan, and all else needed for a small business plus help me apply for financing -- the "sweet" part is the it's all FREE.

I think I got it now.  I will make an appointment.

Today I received some useful information, and was told that since I am a woman I could qualify for many small business benefits - especially under the new stimulus package from President Obama's administration.  I say, I'll take it.  Interested?  Contact your local SBDC.

There's nothing better than being in the right place at the right time and meeting someone unexpected who helps you toward your own goals in life.  I look forward to building a business that gives me the security that I desire.  

Hold on to dreams and don't let them die because someone - who is not you - underestimates what you do.  Everyone has the right to work toward the goals they set for themselves no matter the times.
