Tomorrow is Another Day

Today has not been great. The Ruby design is not happening. Maybe it's the sadness that exists in my heart over the death of Michael Jackson, and maybe it's a flawed design. Whatever it is, I am going to turn in early (2AM would be the usual) - and I will wake tomorrow ready to go again.

Not sure what the problem is at this point other than rethinking the whole thing. The fabric is fabulous though. Close your eyes and see fire engine RED that shines like a royal garment. It's stretch silk and maybe a lot heavier than the usual lingerie fabric. The bead strand is formed with ruby crystals, clear sparkling crystals - one for each state of the union (50), and a couple of blue sapphire crystals top it off! So you have summer heat in all it's red majesty with a patriotic, this is my country beading. Now I need to make the design work for me.

Tomorrow is another day.

A Drop in a Bucket

This was one of those days when it seemed as if I did a lot, then I take a look at what was done and it seems like little of nothing at all.  Maybe I can blame it on the rain.

In the words of Scarlet O'Hara - my Mother's favorite saying - tomorrow is another day.
