We've Only Just Begun

It's 2010! Tomorrow's date will actually enter the double digits for January. WOW! There's been little time to laugh, cry or even breathe. Today though it was lots of crying.

My very good friend - who is more like a sister to me - buried her fifteen year old son today. The silence, the confusion, the bitterness, and the emotions filled the church as well as the memorial grounds. I'm sure no one there expected they would be there. There were tears.

There was love. That special love. That brotherly love when the baseball team, the deceased teenager played on, gathered together in one pew. They leaned on each other. Hugged and loved on each other, and made me very proud as a team mom. That's l'Amore.

Tonight is silent and a bit lonely. A time to reflect about why death comes. Is it so life can exist? I don't know. All I know is I am blessed, and I pray for my friend and her family.

PS - With the census office adventures, and these turn of events I ask your patience on the new collections that were slated to be released by now.

The Questions on the Form - 2010 Census

The Questions on the Form - 2010 Census

It's better if you take the time to fill out the form and mail it back instead of having a visitor from the census office or better yet, the US Marshall.
