A Stitch In Time Saves Nine
An American prover. By who? - IDK. As pertains to sewing or crafting, I deem this saying to mean if you take the required measures to do something right the first time, you won't have to waste time with do overs. But then again, do overs can be used as learning experiences if you see the cup half full.
