Celibacy can be a choice in life

or a condition imposed by circumstances.

While attending a Marriage Weekend, Frank and his wife Ann,

listened to the instructor declare, “It is essential that husbands

and wives know the things that are important to each other.”

In Milano I had the pleasure of meeting designer Selene Giorgi. Her shop located on Vicolo Lavandai catches the attention of both the local faire and the tourist. Her pieces definitely caught my eye and for those who prefer different, take a look at her website ATELIER and enjoy!

A Very Joyful Day

Things might not always seem to happen the way I wish they would but every day I try to build l'Amore Intimo. Today after spending the afternoon in Dodgertown I picked up a gift card from Claim Jumpers. I found out that the company who makes their Gift Card caters to the restaurant community. But that didn't stop me. I googled retail store business cards and found plenty of companies. Now I get to wade through them and find the one for l'Amore.

l'Amore Intimo

One day my sister called me to tell me about someone who had stolen her heart. Something was different in her voice - a tone of contentment, joy, happiness, and peace. I could feel her heart and was/am very happy for her. She deserves every bit of happiness that comes into her life. Besides I've apologized at least once for sticking her finger with a pin while I was twirling around being a high schooler, way back when. Then the majority vote was to prick my finger so that the two of us would be always joined by blood. It was childish but she couldn't be closer to me in mind, heart, and spirit if she were my biological sister. So her happiness is an utmost priority.

Here's looking at you kid, and the love who has entered your life. You both have touched my heart with the love you share. It's not sickening, it's real.

l'Amore Intimo interpreted is the intimate love, and the two of them have found that kind of love - the love who you want to spend all your time with. We all should experience this kind of love. My hope is to toast them at your wedding.

INTIMATE LOVE

The English translation of l'Amore Intimo. Merriam-Webster defines Intimate as a noun - an intimate friend or confidant, adjective - belonging to or characterizing one's deepest nature, and a transitive verb - to make known especially publicly or formally and love had many meanings including the love of God but also strong affection for another. Therefore, I conclude from the desire of my heart, l'Amore Intimo is the perfect name and meaning for my business that evolves daily.

The US Trademark office has put me in the driver's seat of owning the rights to this name. There's Intimo and there's Amore but there's only one l'Amore Intimo. I love that.

A Much Needed Breather

Not long - just a little break. The serger is not wanting to be threaded - thinking I may have to replace it sooner rather than later, because it's sounding peculiar. But I will sew with it until it won't sew no more.

Nascar drivers change their tires numerous times during a race. I guess changing out equipment when you're working hard is commonplace.

The Amethyst, The Aquamarine, The Emerald, and The Ruby will be available for viewing soon. They are still available for order. The designs are beautiful and will fit well with the other 8 photographed.

Release the Passion in You

Behind L'AMORE INTIMO is passion, love, and commitment for that special someone.  L'AMORE is never casual or distasteful.  L'AMORE is a gift.  When you find L'AMORE you find you.

BEHIND the Design

I came up with that title all by myself!  It's okay to send email about that one, pun. 

First let me BRIEF you on the passion that surrounds L'AMORE INTIMO.  The idea BEHIND my company came out of being loved.  My original idea for the company name was Breathe - the essence of Life, Living and Loving.  After months of going back and forth and stubbornly holding on to this name over others suggested, I was told what l'amore means.  L'Amore goes beyond the casual, it's the opposite of non-committal -- L'Amore is the essence of Loving, Living, and Life (different/better/more defined).  When I understood this in my thinking of what I want to represent as a sensual apparel designer I knew I had to DBA L'AMORE INTIMO.

I have posted sample designs on this blog, and will change up and add more over time.  Tell me what you think, and encourage your family and friends to take a look too.  "Not your granny's panties!"  It just may be exciting to say one day that you were on the ground level of this wonderful venture.

As Designer and President, L'AMORE INTIMO is my loving creation, as my personal statement is -- "Everything I do is from a place deep inside my heart". As a prelude to the launch of the website www.lamoreintimo.com, you will be able to read all about the thoughts that are the premise of this wonderful venture.

I am encouraged and inspired daily to champion those who have misplaced, need to establish, or even reconnect with the beauty that is inside of them, as L'AMORE INTIMO's brand statement is -- "Release the passion in you!".
